Our operational sites have implemented ‘Near Miss Programmes’ which aim to involve as many people as possible in the identification of hazards and near misses.

All departments, even contractors have been involved in these programmes which have proven a successful means of raising awareness of health & safety issues and have led to improvements in overall standards.

Issues raised range from technical observations through to slip and trip hazards. Recognition and reward schemes have enhanced the effectiveness of the programme in some sites such as Turkey.
