Actavis sponsors numerous social initiatives and each local Actavis site supports activities in the community that reflect the Company's values and strategy.

Actavis supports social initiatives that focus on a healthy lifestyle, including the support of local sports clubs and youth organisations. This includes the local football team in Hafnarfjordur, Iceland, Actavis' home town. The team, FH, was national champion or cupwinner in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.

Actavis has also sponsored a successful basketball team in its home town, Haukar, a basketball team in Serbia, a marathon in the United States and the Romanian Athletics Olympic team for the Beijing Olympics, to name just a few examples.
